Children's Devotional | June 2021

Dear Grace Families,

We are changing our format for communicating with you this month.  Let us know how it works for you! During the month of June our theme is confidence!

Do you need God’s help with your confidence? Some of us do (me!) some of us do not (Mark!) ☺
We love the monthly Life App for this theme:
 
Confidence—Learning to see yourself the way God sees you.  

Gosh, isn’t that what we all desire?  Lord, help us remember this!
The monthly bible verse for our kids to learn is:

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Psalm 27:13

It sure resonates with us.  You, too?  Isn’t this how we want to live?  Don’t we want to focus on:

whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. 9 Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice.  Philippians 4:8

Isn’t it amazing how timely the Word of God is for the things we go through on a daily basis?  
We will study the theme of confidence through four different passages of the bible each week in June:

June 6th:

June 13th:  
Cities in Dust
Israel Captures Jericho
Joshua 5:13–6:20

June 20th:  
Use Somebody
Gideon Judges 6–8

June 27th:

Elijah and the Prophets of Baal
1 Kings 18:16-46

We look forward to learning along with your sweet kids and you this summer!  Our Safari VBS will be so special in learning about the Lord’s prayer and how God takes care of us all…And as always, let us know if we can do anything to help your family along the way…
