Relationships
James 5: 16
Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
Relationships are some of the very best parts of this life, and they reflect the heart of our God in so many ways. Relationships remind us of how loved we are, uplift tattered spirits, encourage us when life is hard, and challenge us to go deeper.
The past year has been hard on our relationships. Many relationships have faltered or at this point are nonexistent. God wants to heal, and restore those relationships. God wants to bloom new ones through you, and through the body.
One of the harder prayers to pray is when we need to restore our relationship with God. Many times, when relationships falter, we or the other person- or both, are out of relationship or alignment in some area with God. We have in some way put the focus on ourselves, and not the kingdom work of our Savior. What if we pursued relationships with others the way God has pursued us? What would that look like? Join us this month as we pray for one another, that the pruning would yield Godly fruit in our relationships and in our lives.

Topics and scriptures regarding relationships to use as a guide over the coming weeks:
Humility in relationships (Colossians 3:12-13)
Love at all times (Proverbs 17:17)
Communication – (Galatians 6:2, 1 Thessalonians 5:11)
Serving others over self – (1 Peter 4:10)
Prayer in closing:
Lord, may we daily come to you in prayer, giving you thanks for all the relationships in our lives and asking that you be present and at work in each of them. Strengthen the bonds we have with our loved ones. Open our eyes to new friendships, relationships we can be making, and new people we can connect with. Help us to forgive freely, let go of grudges, love humbly, and serve others with a willing spirit.
To YOU God be all Glory,
Amen
